Information Technology Project Solutions
IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS
LATEOTT has lead and participated in projects that deliver updated networks and thousands of desktop and laptop computers for industry customers and for the US Department of Defense. LATEOTT has taken the lead in solving a wide spectrum of enterprise problems from logistics to the most intricate software communications issues. LATEOTT consultants are encouraged to excel, and they do, by delivering solutions to problems and developing the processes to circumvent similar problems from occurring.
DEVELOPMENT TOOLS
LATEOTT consultants are proficient in all the current development tools and techniques. In addition to this expertise we have developed the following methodology tools to support "best practices" in our information deliveries.
Application Development
LATEOTT has a proven methodology for Rapid Application Development. This process uses key ideas from object-oriented development (OOD) approaches, based on practical experience. OOD offers key benefits earlier in the development life cycle and provides opportunities to test the system sooner using formal, re-usable test scenarios. RAD also takes advantage of prototyping to communicate design ideas to the users and receive rapid feedback on any requests for changes to design or display. This translates into greatly reduced development time for critical, core functions that are in the first release. Subsequent releases enhance what is there and add functionality while the core functions remain in production.
Custom Software Methodology
A flexible template that provides the blueprint for all our development work and ensures that customer time and resources are used effectively. Our four-phase approach begins with design and analysis activities that enable our consultants and clients to accurately assess scope and user requirements. The methodology is participatory, so system users have ample opportunities to understand and test the design before an application is put into production. A focus on training and turnover insures that your staff are positioned to fully support the system.

Build vs. Buy Methodology
LATEOTT has worked with more than 100 different software packages in a wide range of industries, and has developed a methodology specifically for package selection. It provides a complete checklist of tasks and decision points for determining if a package solution is right for you. Establishing your business priorities and budget requirements BEFORE you shop for a solution can help avoid costly mistakes.
Infrastructure Assessment Methodology
Structures the design of networks and operating procedures that meet customers' current technology requirements and helps them plan for the future.
LATEOTT Business Analysis Technique
Key to all successful projects is comprehensive requirement gathering and business analysis. This multi-level information is typically gathered through a series of Joint Requirements Planning (JRP) sessions and structured interviews. Scope Assessment Sessions (SAS) are utilized to capture a definitive set of business objectives and measurement criteria that the project will be held to and makes everyone accountable for later design decisions.
Data Warehouse Methodology
LATEOTT has worked with the leading tools in data warehousing and has developed a Rapid Analysis and Implementation Methodology. This leads to quick Return On Investment for the development of data mining and Business Intelligence (BI) structures and for Online Analytical Processing Systems (OLAP) development.
